Lauren was born and raised in Long Island.  She attended Hofstra University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology.  Lauren then attended Touro Law Center in where she obtained her Juris Doctor degree.

 

Lauren is tasked with handling all phases of the firm's litigation matters.   She brings her extensive real estate experience to our firm, representing purchasers and sellers in residential and commercial transactions.  In addition, Lauren is actively involved in the firm's estate planning, drafting wills other testamentary instruments for her clients.

 

Lauren began her legal career as a paralegal for a multi-national law firm where she worked in their Intellectual Property Department. Lauren assisted the firm in obtaining a successful outcome on appeal for one of the firm's largest cases.  During law school, Lauren interned with the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office in both the District Court Bureau and Domestic Violence Unit. During this time, Lauren received extensive experience in the courtroom, including conducting pre-trial hearings. Lauren was also a legal intern with Touro Law Center's Family Law Clinic where she handled interviews and motions for cases involving child custody, child support and divorce. Lauren was accepted onto Touro's Moot Court Honor Society where she competed in National Competitions and served as Competition Editor on the Editorial Board of the Honor Society.

 

After law school, Lauren became an associate at a boutique civil defense firm where she handled litigation and arbitration files and appeared in all five boroughs.  Lauren then became an associate with a prominent real estate firm on Long Island, where she conducted closings, representing various institutional lenders in residential and commercial real estate transactions.

 

Lauren is a member of the New York State Bar Association, American Bar Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association.
